#techgirl with communication and strategic management skills
Me: obsessed with gardening, interior design, communications, innovation, running, and most importantly, my sweet, insightful, beautiful daughter.
I work at the United Nations, evangelizing a culture of innovation and adoption of new ways of working. This includes raising awareness of innovative practices, mindsets, and behaviours within and outside the UN; coordinating innovation challenges; building a global network of change agents; creating safe spaces for dialogue; and more.
Previously I established and led a team responsible for communicating ICT across the UN, including the implementation of a global ICT strategy for the organization. This involved rolling out enterprise-class applications; migrating to the cloud, tackling growing cybersecurity issues; leveraging social tools to increase information-sharing; exploring emerging and frontier technologies, and more to modernize the UN, making it stronger and more effective and interconnected.
Communication and connection are the means through which we convey our stories and foster deep and authentic connection.
Innovation and creativity are avenues to address our human need to reimagine, reinvent, and recreate our societies and communities.
